Charley Chase: More Awesomeness

Charley Chase just might be the only silent star to have a porn star named after him (googling can be interesting!). However after my last quick post on him Yair Solan contacted me with some more information which I felt the need to share.

First up Yair runs a very lovely site in honor of the Silent Charley: http://charley-chase.com/ (look for it on our Silent Stars Sites on the right hand side of your screen). The site has pictures, stills, complete filmographies, and a great bio written on Chase.

I also found much to my surprise a biography on Chase had been released in 1997, and though a little pricey it's still available. "Smile When the Raindrops Fall" was written by Brian Anthony and has mostly good reviews. Click here to purchase.

Nitrateville also spread the word that next year a set of Charley's talkies are set to come out via Columbia. Its gonna be a good year for Chase fans!
