Valentino Film Festival: Any helpers?

I mentioned it during my Sheik Week rant about the kooks. I mentioned it again yesterday. I mean it: Forget the Talkies is gonna create, "The Rudolph Valentino Film Festival"! Yes many people have mentioned the idea before, and in no possible way can I claim to be the originator. But the mentioners never did anything about it...but I am (consider it the ultimate honor project).

Quite obviously a lot of work lays ahead on the path; but I'm hoping to make it a nice mix of Silents (with a twist!), Silents Talking (you rarely see films like Coquette screened), and just generally good movies from whenever...as Valentino had a thing about artistic films. I'm hoping that towards the Summer of 09 we can have everything in place and ready to go. So it's gonna be awhile...but there is a definite reason to blog now.

I need some helpers. Anyone who would like to help plan and organize this honor project is welcome to! You don't necessarily have to live in Los Angeles, but it would help. If your interested please contact me at misspickford@forgetthetalkies.com . No0bs are welcomed as are experienced folk.
