I'm not gonna lie: I kinda hat(ed) facebook. That's my musician roots showing as I was always myspace only. But my friends dragged me on to it; and as long as they don't change the layout I find it a-okay. One cool thing they have is a 'pages' feature which allows you to create and support pages for various celebrities, films, causes, etc. The Silent Movie Theatre has one, Valentino has one, Theda Bara has one, Mary has one...so why shouldn't Anna? Or D.W.?
Me in all my young and hip glory decided I would create one. So if you have yourself a facebook; venture on over to the Anna May Wong page. And don't forget the D.W. Griffith one! I'll try and keep them nice and updated, just like I obviously do here and the Silent Wiki. I thought about making a 'Forget the Talkie' page but a page for a blog seemed...redundant. I think you get enough updates right here.
That being said I am working hardcore on getting both those Honor Projects to go full steam ahead. My apologies on the delay for Anna's, I wanna make it good. Stay tuned, because in the next few weeks there just might be some news. And if you haven't already, think about signing the D.W. petition and donating to Anna's headstone fund. One is free, and the other even $1 will help. So...go and do it!
